Denver Options’ ILSTs connect with you to develop a plan to implement practical strategies on how to manage your life at home and in the community. Our ILSTs believe that succeeding in the challenges of daily living is the key to job readiness.
ILSTs will help with:
Home Life
- Organizing daily planner (e.g. calendars, PDAs)
- Mail organization
- Household organization
- Medication management
- Budgeting and financial management
- Time management strategies
- Safety skills
- Compensatory strategies
Community Life
- Manage community appointments (e.g. benefits, medical, housing, employment)
- Organize transportation
- Connect and maintain natural supports within the community
- Navigate resource options
- Link to exciting volunteer opportunities
As ILSTs with Denver Options, we serve areas along the front range, including the counties of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, El Paso and Jefferson.
Denver Options' ILSTs have years of experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. They also carry a variety of certifications and trainings such as Certified Brain Injury Specialist, Bachelor's Degree and training in Developmental and Learning Disabilities.
Our ILSTs are approved providers through the Colorado TBI Trust Fund, Operation TBI Freedom, the Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and the State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (PAT services). Other payment options are available.
